Help New to TC life
Hey everyone, truth be told I am posting this for my GF. I am a mustang enthusiast and am having fun adding mods to my car. Now my GF wants her 2007 Tc to be faster. We are looking to make it a low 13 high 12 car. How hard is this? What are best bolt ons? What is best tuner/chip for this car? What is best clutch for this car?
I am not a import guy and it has been so easy to turn my stang into a 500hp monster for only $1100 I need help working on hers.
Thanks

You'd have to go with a turbo kit. My car on 10lbs with a decent sized turbo (turbonetics gtk450) ran 13.7. Never been to the track before that day so no prior experience. I use an ACT 6 puck spring hub clutch with heavy duty pressure plate. Works great. My car has alot more potential once I get more seat time.
Stock block is usually good for 300hp. Quite a bit more than $1000 though to get there though
In my opinion I'd go with Dezod S1 kit. It's not what I have on mine but if I did it again I'd go that route with their alpha manifold. Very reliable and they are very active on the forum.

If you want a car that can achieve 12s or 13s you will either have to go turbo or build the motor N/A. Turbo will be cheaper and easier as more people have done this and there is more info on it. As far as N/A i think the best someone has acheived as far as HP is about 220 and he is on here his name is TCPETE. But either way its going to cost you. If i were you id look for a used turbo kit on here(there are alot of them) and slap it on and run low boost. Like people have said, stock block is good for about 300 HP.
