Default HELP! Where can I get my cold intake Air Filter cleaned?

So I have a cold air intake installed and the filter got really dirty. I heard that I have to remove the whole front bumper to clean the air filter but I don't want to do it myself. Where can I take it to the mechanics to do it?

Thanks guys

You don't need to remove the front bumper. Just feel back the fender liner. And you can just buy a new one at autozone for cheap. Which replacing it would be the better option IMO

There is no reason you should pay someone to do this. If you want to keep the filter that came with it, K&N sells a cleaning kit at Autozone.

Which filter does it use? Which cold air intake are you running, that could also help in ID'ing the filter, assuming you bought it new.

You do it yourself. Go to autozone and buy the K&N Filter recharger kit. Do it yourself. Who installed your CAI? If you did, you should be able to get to it.

As mentioned above, cut the steering wheel all the way left, pop off the tabs and any applicable screws for the driver's fender liner, pull fender liner to clear some room to remove the filter. Not hard, want even more room? Take off the wheel and do the steps above.

remove filter, spray with cleaner, rest for few minutes, rinse, air dry, install filter.

You may want to switch your CAI to a SRI if you want to be able to easily change your filter. I believe with the Injen intake you just remove the last part of the tubing and you get a SRI. Could be another brand though.

x2

Set it up as a Short Ram Intake, if possible, for easier cleaning. I always use a K&N Filter cleaning kit. Instructions are simple, and never had a problem with it.
