Default hks hi power = loss lower end torque?

my friend suggested since the tip is over 4 inches, i may experience some low end torque? if i want to do autocrossing i think that will hurt because i need low end torque to pick up speed

can getting a midpipe and spipe solve it (balance it) and switching out midpipe and spipe is that going throw a CEL or any emission issues? (i live in Maryland)

Only changing the exhaust manifold to a header will a CEL show up, there is a fix for that though. Changing the s-pipe and midpipe will not throw a CEL. As far as emmissions issues I have no idea what MD does. If it's visual then as long as you have the OEM exhaust manifold you should pass no problem.

Depends on the size of the s-pipe or mid-pipe. Either way, your not gaining or losing much. If anything, you gain some on the top end. Lose some tq for some hp. Best chance to gain anything, if you decide to go the affordable route is I/H/E and then a tune.

Other than that, buy my exhaust and you will have massive amounts of power and durability and the ability to pick up hot girls that will buy you a hamburger on Friday nights.

you wont feel a difference in lost of torque with just the hks axle back exhaust, unless you do a midpipe and header, even at that theres not much lost but gain mid to high end power, but you can always fix the low end with a crank pully, and even check out the TWP throttle controller which helps the car accelerate faster and more responsive but thats going to a whole new level then what your askin but i thought i would let you know about it
