The hp you will gain is hp that is already there. I gained 11.5 whp and 18tq on the dyno. You will feel a difference.

It does increase HP because it frees up rotating mass reducing drag on the engine putting more power to the wheels.

It also increases the rate of engine accelation because there is less drag.

I don't know where your information source is but you might wanna have it checked by a professional. meaning me.

how easy is it to install and do you need anything else to install it or you can you just put it into a factory tC? Sorry this is going to be a dumb question but can you upgrade that in an auto?

(^_^)Yeah I'm A N00B(^_^)

Yes you can. An impact gun is all you need, and a friend to hold the belt tensioner bolt for you while you take off the pulley. Put the new one on, pu tthe belt back on, and bam your done.

Yes, and that would require a breaker bar of some sort. It's a 5 min job basically though.

Has anyone been running on these things for decent mileage? Taking out the harmonic balancer is a scary thing to me.

I'm just iffy about the vibration because other parts will feel the brunt of it

That's probably due to the fact that he just got a Turbonetics kit installed, and therefore a little bit paranoid he might damage something. He also has a lightweight flywheel. All that reving + boost, is over kill. I'm sure he would have reported if he had a problem with it.

Look at a bunch of different car forums, crank pulleys have caused a lot of problems. Not knocking zpi, its just any pulley in general.

That's neither here nor there for this thread. This has been discussed Billions of times before, there are just as many people that said they run them and they have no problems as there are people who say it's harmful to the engine. So, the choice is yours.

Yes it is a choice, just trying to show a possible outcome to those who just look at numbers. Personally i'll wait to see a tc running one with 30k miles and no side effects.
