How come no one mentions Takeda CAI/SRI Intake or HPS CAI/SRI Intakes?
Ive heard a few things about the HPS here and there but the claims on it alone should make there be interest. I know its sort- of an ebay brand intake but 10 hp and torque for an intake in our cars is pretty unreal. Also, the Takeda conversion intake seems pretty good but i cant find a single thread about it. Is it anygood? Its made by AFE. Does anyone have any knowledge about either of these? Are the hp and torque claims actually backed up by people who have purchased that HPS Intake?
Im looking mainly for an SRI but i like the idea that both of these can be converted into a CAI or an SRI. And i know as soon as i post this people are going to be screaming about the Injen intake. Im not getting that. First of all the SRI barely fits and ive heard people having trouble with it. Plus they claim they lose low end torque. Neither of those things i want to deal with.
Thanks for any info.

Yea true true. I know your not gona gain a whole lot of hp or torque with any intake but im just curious how come no one uses Takeda intakes or the hps. all i ever hear about is injen.

because even though the increase is small injen has been proven to get the best gains and is a main company so people will go with that over companies that dont have a big name. Also those smaller companies get less advertising and advise from other people. If someone bought an injen intake they are going recommend that so word of mouth spreads around and people end up buying that.
There is nothing wrong with those 2 brands, get what you want.
