Default How do i kill rasp????

Ok so heres the deal. i bought the megan racing catback and the megan headers. i havent installed the headers yet but im pretty sure its gonna be raspy. now heres my question.....what should i do to kill the rasp? i was thinking about cuttin out the resonator that comes on the catback and adding 2 more. has anyone run into this problem? please i need all the input possible. thanks

Hey bro, yea I've been asking the same question because I definitely wanna do your same set up with the Megan parts. Most ppl have told me to either put on another resonator or put on high flow cats and that should deepen your rumble instead of making ur car sound high-pitched nd raspi. Hey could you let me know how it sounds after u install ur mods? Hope I helped out a bit, later

A larger resonator will fix it. I went 30", but others have posted success with 22" models. I bought the resonator and had it installed at a local muffler shop for just over $100

I just did 2 18 inch Res. back -2- back and its perfect.

ok sounds good thanks guys. so u think i should get rid of the stoclk res that comes on the megan exhaust and replace it with 2 different ones? or leave the original and add another 2 it?

Grab a 30" resonator and weld it in, you should be fine with stock megan res.
