Correct me if I'm wrong but I was reading a couple other posts and doesn't a grounding kit reduce the lag from the drive-by-wire a little as well?

Its been said to do that, smooth idle (measured by movement of the intake no less), gain power, heal the blind, create rain... and so on Its right up there with those magic magnetic bracelets. A $30 mod that $80,000/yr toyota senior engineers could not figure out that will fix everything. They can make a car run til the body falls off... but cant get that darned ground potential thing down.

Ok.. sorry if I sound harsh, no offense to those who have them installed. But other than one or two "I can just tell it helps" types of measurements, I have yet to ever see any benifit performance wise. A little on the sound system, but thats it. As I said, if a better ground fixes ANYTHING, you had a poor ground somewhere to start with.

I've been quite spectical when it came to that, a couple ppl on the 2gstratus boards talked them up but couldn't produce any real evidence, it really seems like another tornado drop in or the all mighty ebay chip...

I got my ground wire kit for 10 dollars, i knew it wasnt for hp increase, i got it for my new sound system. Oh it was 10 dollars cuz i went to my friends garage got free wire and connectors, and then i spent 10 buks on food to munch on while installing.

that's basically what i want them for, my sound system. something has to be wrong with you to think you can gain hp from a few wires. lol

i have noticed a smoother idle as well as throttle lag being better. i have also had comments on the throttle lag from other tC drivers being different even when they didn't know of my grounding kit.. (it's not a psychological thing i'm trying to say). but really.. it's more for people running lots of audio.... the headlights don't flicker as much any more on those hard bass beats.

as far as perfomance?? that's a myth busted.
