Default How much should it cost for a new serpentine belt?

After 114000 miles, my serpentine belt broke. I looked it up and it should cost about $45 for the belt itself. I just don't know how long the labor should take. I'm not taking it to the dealer because there is a reliable shop in town.

i can do the belt in less than 15 minutes. Dealer usually charge 1 hr labor for it
Go to Rockauto.com and order Gates bell. the belt for my supercharger was $35

the belt is cheap and if you are slightly mechanically inclined and have someone to put some torque on the tensioner pulley start to finish it should take about 30-45 mins (wheel off, guard off, belt routed and tensioned, guard on, wheel on).

as gamma said about 1hr labor if you go to a shop, so it's up to you if you want to spend the money or DIY
