I didn't get on it hard because the emanage had a error light and the engine didn't run well due to the emanage, idle sucked big time.

But, the shifting is much better. I installed it again to troubleshoot the emanage and I must say, it's very easy to mount and interconnect.

The ESK can be purchased from turboeast.com ($210), and the ECU harness can be purchased from ZPI ($295!).

ScionDad, were you able to test the ESK without the emanage? and if so, no problems with idling then right?

You'd have to get vids of the tach if anything - nothing really to notice from the exterior, etc. Just feels like a crisp firm shift. Now, a valve body you can get some squeakage and that makes for some decent video

Can someone answer my question already...

1. Does this thing have a on or off button?
2. Does it chirp the tires?
3. Why doesn't anybody answer any questions I ask on this forum. It's almost a 50/50 chance someone will see my posts and reply to me.

What map did you have programmed in your e-manage? Obviously you can't just plug it in and expect it to be perfect? Does it have a turbo map in it? You need to dyno tune an emanage for it to work correctly

Well it happens I joined at that date but I've been reading on this forum since I've purchased my tC in late July. I was one of the first auto tC owners. I should have more respect because my parents didn't buy me this car unlike many of you on this forum. I am a 19 year old in college paying my own way and have already paid off my tC from the start from working my ___ off in high school.

Sorry if I have offended anyone but I am just a little irritated because I have been ignored almost everytime I have posted.

Do you want a cookie??

Quit having an attitude when you post, and maybe we'll answer you....as for this topic, we did, now stop with the "oh im 19 and paying my own way through college" crap, the majority of the scion owners are college students, so your not really THAT special

As for parents paying for my car.....hmm not really, because if they co signed on it, then i couldn't of traded it in now could i of? if parents did, it was so they could get a good credit score so the monthly payments would be lower.

you need to shut it dude. for real.

back on topic....

Yes it is true that most tC owners are college students. Point out the more obvious when Scion is aiming towards youth. How does this have any relevance to your pathetic argument? Also I highly doubt anyone on here a college student actually worked for their tC and had it paid off by the age of 18. Nobody could have put down 19K for their car without having the help from somebody. I earned every penny working. So there my last thing said. I'm not saying anymore because this will go on forever.

There is no map, it was supposed to make no changes at all...just run as it would if it were the stock ecu.

It did not come with one - but I added one. A simple switch on the red power line. I would think throwing the switch with the car on might be a bit risky as it may send a voltage spike messing up the ECU.

Don't know if it chirps tires yet. But I know the shift is much better. I will le yo know if they chirp when I get emanage clear.

Not sure about #3. I answer when I can.
