Purchasing off Ebay is a skill...those who are ignorant and lack common sense will get burned. Those who know the difference between real and fake and who can tell when a deal is "too good to be true" are the ones who have a good experience on Ebay.

The logo on your intake is different than the one on the auction site:

The intake looks nice but I like the one pictured from the auction better...the HPS on yours is huge.

sorry for the broken promises folks, hard to take pics with a broken camera that i just found out about ....

Anyways, i got the intake on yesterday. There's not a huge difference between it and the Weapon-r that i replaced, a little more whistle i suppose. It feels kinda like a tad more pull from 4k on, but hey, it's just an intake lol. The logo on that guy's ^^^^^ intake is one of the stickers that comes with the package. My pipe came with this cheap metal logo like the one on the site with adhesive backink. It's already starting to come off, so that's probably why that guy replaced his. Overall, this is a bang for the buck item that I highly recommend. There was one fitment issue, the lower bracket inside the fender well. I fabbed up a connector with another universal bracket i had lying around from the weapon-r intake and it was an easy fix. But other than that, all the materials and quality of workmanship are top shelf. Two thumbs up on this one.

how does this sound though? Can you compare it to the ingen? or can you take a video of the sound? I'm very curious now... I was going to get an ingen but at this price, I may make the switch...

sounds just like the injen to me. looking at it that way, they're both the same thing... a ss pipe with a filter on the end.

my pipe came with the metal logo too and it started to peal so i decided to put the sticker that came with the package. The only thing that concerns me is that the filter looks pretty cheap to me. No HPS logo on it, like pictured. my filter is hidden so it does not bother me that much.

So I just got HPS CAI for my 08 Tc. How do you prevent water from entering the system? I know AEM sells bypass valve but are there any other cheaper ones out there that will do the job?

dont go swimming in your car. there's seriously no definite way to keep CAIs from hydrolocking your engine. just be careful and you should be fine.
