Default I got my headers Jet Hot coated (pics)

I got my Megan headers Jet Hot coated with the Sterling finish. They're freaking pimp! I am soooo excited about it and I always wanted to do it. I am gonna install them over the weekend. Jet Hot did a great job, and as you can see in the pic, the inside is coated too.
So far it looks like I am the only person who did this to their Tc headers..?? I searched and searched, but nobody did it or had pics to back it up. anyways.... here's the pics!

Here's the before and after temperature reading
:
Before coating: engine was on for 26 minutes without a/c and the ambient temperature was 80* F
After the coating: engine was on for 28 minutes with a/c on and the ambient temperature was 78* F
So it looks like the headers are not coated completely on the inside according to the temperature readings

mine should be on their way back this week, i got matte black finish on my mmw header. can't wait to see them.

anyway, goto jet-hot.com, you call them up for an employee id number, ship your header to one of their facilities with your order instructions, like which coating and which color you want, and your return address and employee id. they will call you for a credit card over the phone and ship it back to you when your done.

cause if you dip it in gold it'll be a ____load heavier. what are you doing on an rsx forum anyway? traitor.

nah jk tho. the gold looks good. but it should be on a "bling" car like a 300c, not a honda/toyota.

and looking at it closely, gold kinda clashes w/ carbon fiber. thats like puttin DUB rims on a 93 civic bubble

I'm doing it as well, but I'm doing it to my DME header, hey Will, you should really invest in the DME one, trust me, I went from the Megan to this one and what a freaking difference, I have 2 sitting at my shop if you are interested, thanks.

Go on the website and look at the prices. They have different prices depending on what you want to do. I'm gonna say it will run you about $200 with shipping....

This is the e-mail I received.

We'd charge $165 to coat your header in the 1300 Sterling finish. Add $20
for the matte black, blue, grey or copper finish. The gloss black is $50
additional and has an 1100ºF tolerance. We'll need them here for 5 days plus
shipping time back. If the parts are chrome or nickel plated, add $40 to
the total and 2 days for stripping. Return shipping would be about $27.

Technical benefits for the 1300 Sterling are as follows: Looks great,
reduces under-hood temperatures by 50 degrees Fahrenheit and more, keeps
pipes about 300ºF cooler, gives you 1-3% extra horsepower, extends average
header life by at least 10 times, and improves safety in an accident by
reducing the probability of fire-balling. It is also very easy to keep
clean. If you use one of the other 1300 colors, they perform as well, but
are not as cleanable. I will send you our full information package to get
you all the coating benefits in greater detail.

If you upgrade to the EXTREME STERLING you get a coating that will stay
shiny 200ºF higher than Sterling, and take a maximum temperature of 1700ºF,
though it does have an orange-peel texture compared to 1300 Sterling. It
will also provide an estimated 100ºF more of insulation and carries a 5 year
warranty. It is recommended for low boost turbo and supercharged vehicles,
and lean running EFI cars. Cost is $50 more, and takes an extra 2-3 days to
process.

I am glad everyone likes them, I should have some install pics by Sunday or sooner. I will also provide temperature readings for the before and after results. Let's see if Jet Hot really works!!
