Default Idle adjustment on a manual transmission tc

I don't have access to the repair manuals for the tc. I need to know two things how do I adjust the idle and does the repair manual say anything about a a/c idle control valve? the dealer said to me b/c I am having problems with the a/c not raising the idle with it on. My idle is around 800 a/c off and no problems but my a/c on the idle is around 700 so the car isn't idling up like it is suppose to. It should only idle up a little but its not. anyone can send me the part of the repair that covers this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

what are u talking about?! The idle is supposed to decrease when the a/c is on because the engine is working harder

the car is suppose to idle up a little to compensate for the load, you probably won't tell the difference in the rpm because the a/c idle valve is suppose to bring it to the rpm you car idles at without the a/c. Example the car idles at 800, with the a/c on and if the car doesn't have a idle control valve for the a/c then your car might idle at 700 because of the load, newer cars for years have came with some way to make the car idle higher to compensate for the load which is a a/c idle valve in our cars and it should bring the idles back to 800 or maybe a little highers. Rpms will differ from auto makers and these are examples of mine. when my car was new.

you need to get that a/c idle up checked out. it might be a computer thing because i don't think a/c has a idle up solonoid. you can't adjust idle because the car has TDI, like all new toyotas.
