Meh, I just realized you were referring to the ring gear on the diff hahaha. It's still not too hard to get to, you just have to pull the whole freakin' trans apart to get it out.

not a problem, I will look up the procedure tomorrow on alldata (if they have anything) and try to get part numbers off of there also... those p/n won't meet they will fit on either transmission, but I will give it a shot and see if there is any information on the web that I can find such as output shaft size, etc.

Well the 5th gear removal will be the same ;)
There are also some C-clips you have to remove before removing the bearing retainer. The FSM covers it all in great detail.

FSM??? What is that? Can anyone access that?? I will be able to take it apart, no issue there, just hoping sizes will be the same, hoping the gears from the e351 will spline on the e350 output shaft... I will research more.

Factory Service Manual. I actually think it's available from Scion's site. I have it if you need it. I'm interested to see if everything fits, be sure to keep this thread updated.

lol wow, I feel like an idiot, us at gm just call them sm's... lol.... you can access them through scion? I will try that and let you know what I come up with...
