lol! did you get a turbo yet? or are you running the stiffy stock on your auto? how does it feel like a manual?

please explain!
You know when you start off sometimes in a manual it can get shaky. Its sorta like that. I dont have it anymore though I sold it. But I want anothin! Ive thought about just having some machine shop custom make me a solid bar that will fit in between the brackets to get maximum stiffness. Hopefully the brackets would hold up though lol. I still wanna try that regardless of how much noise it makes. I had I/H/E/Pulley when I had my stiffy though.

thanks for the info, but i have two more questions

(1) What is the best way to reduce the noise it creates? I mean does it come with some sort of noise deadening mat? If so, does it help or what can I get to further reduct it?

(2) Does it fit if I get a Supercharger later? Thanks.

It's pretty damn loud on the stiff setting, even with dynomat under the bracket.

My stiffy will not adjust anymore because of a problem I had with the adjusting nut bending so it won't spin. I took it off yesterday and I'm going to send it to ingalls.

It's an awesome mod though.. Now that I have it off the car you really notice a huge difference. I hop going into second gear now, when before it would just spin smoothly.

Lauching the car is a nightmear without it.. Stuff bouncing around, my TV & CD player turning off, terrible sounds, and a few times my windshield wipers came on it was bouncing so bad.

The mod stops tons of wheel hop especially on this app. I have local guy that tracks his N/A tC all the time and he says zero hop on launches since the install.

Some people have had the sound control issue because of the little vibration, but overall one thing with performance is consistent....You have to give to get. I say the vibration is worth it for the less squat and wheel hop.

Always in stock and ready to go:

Yes, it makes a significant amount af noise without Dynomat. Something behind my headunit buzzes between 3000 and 3800 RPM. But, you don't notice it with stereo on at a moderate level. Definately worth the price and minor noise/vibrations.

You'll love it.
Easy to install too.

Dynomat would have to be purchased seperately. You can buy the stuff online or at car audio shops. You may want to ask your local install shop for some scraps...you don't need all that much.

You can buy it in the car audio section of Best Buy, Circuit City or likes.

Luckily my buddy had some dynamat to spare so I got a good amount. Enough for many installs. The only issues I had were my radio cover rattling and of course loose change going crazy. And also when I would first start the car. There was often a loud creak in the direction of the damper. It would do that during acceleration until I guess the damper warmed up.

Thanks for the great info guys, so finally my question is, where do you mount/put the dynomat? A picture would definitely help. THANK YOU GUYS!

Yeah, mine does that too...it sounds God-awfull in the morning during winter. The sounds diminish as the car warms up though. I just think of it as a reminder to be gentle while the car's cold.
