Default Injen CAI Question

So i have a Injen CAI and I was wondering is it possible to take the other end off and clamp the filter to the first end so it would be like a short ram?

thats the only way to make a short a short ram, cause they dont offer one any other way, but if you look at the dyno sheets that are posted in the stickys, you'll see that you will be losing power and torque due to the hot air the intake will be supplying the motor. so if you have, just install it, its not that hard, unless you have other reasons for wanting a short ram

yea, go with the full CAI if you can. You'll get more benefit out of it than if you just made it a short ram.

why did you take off the bumper, all you need to do is remove the inside fender plastic, took me just under an hour to do the whole job

at first I didn't but then Trung did it for me. I didn't really notice any changes, but if you think about it with the vent off, it is easier for air to get in
