INJEN INTAKE THROWING CEL
so i have a tsudo n1 and just installed a couple of weeks ago my injen intake. a week ago it through a cel so i took it out reinstalled it which took about an hour and realized that i didnt put a stud in so i put it in. plug the battery back in and cel was gone. woke up this morning took my lil brother and sister to school and all of a sudden driving down the road it comes back on. get to chic fil a and pop the hood and see that the pipe going into the fender has come out of the coupler i put it back in pop the battery connections crank the car and its still on. went to school still on. get out of school still on. so what do i do. i already know that i have to get some clamps but why is it doing this

If the pipe came loose, hope you didnt suck too much dust and dirt into your intake! First thing, tighten those clamps!!
Second, check that the MAF is properly installed.
Next, if you have an 07 and didnt buy an 07 intake, it will not work correctly.
Finally, as mentioned, if all of that is not it, then you need to read the code and see what it is trying to tell you.

rain can cause a heater circuit malfunction code. seen it alot when noobs at the dealership do oil changes and get oil everywhere then use a gallon of cleaner trying to get it off.
I didnt even think about the compatability issue.

im worried about the whole dirt thing but i dont know i am gonna put the clamps on and get the code read and see whats up im thinking its my mafs because i lost one of the screws but that was a week ago but who knows at this point any other suggestions also that other thing thats attached to the mafswhere is that supposed to go??? i kinda just left it danglin could that be it???

Well, if you are missing a maf screw, that would be my first guess right there. If the MAF is not sealed properly you can definitely have issues. Start by finding another screw for it.

Dude so you lost a maf screw, your ca extension fell off, and you're wondering why you have a cel? I think that logic pretty much answers that one for ya. Take your time on the installs and do them right, clearly that is not right. Good luck man.
