i know there are a hundred post about this im sure ive read threw many but wanted to ask myself. i am torn between the injen or the trd. exhaust. anyone help me choose one over the other would be appreciated. thank you. also are all these just bolt on also?

i believe the INJEN will give you more hp. they both sound nice though.!!! if you wanna go with the oem look go with the trd!

Do you want something loud, or do you want something LOUD?!

i went with TRD because i didn't want the obvious aftermarket exhaust look. not saying its bad, but not for me. and also like TheQuietThings said, TRD=loud, Injen=LOUD!!!

 

i have an injen and it's not that loud at all. i went with the injen because when i listened to sound clips of the few choices available at the time (trd, borla, injen) the injen sounded the smoothest when revving. the others were more burbly. i'm happy with my purchase almost 3 years later. it does definitely look aftermarket though. be ready to reassure random strangers that no, your exhaust is not falling off, and yes, it is supposed to look like that.

 

I used to have the TRD exhaust but now i have the Injen SES model. It is much louder and the cabin noise is increased. So if u want it quiet on the inside get the TRD.

 

i say TRD! sounds deep and thumpy.

and with injen intake it sounds really nice. almost like an sti.

 

Been looking at the 2 myself. TRD just seems awkward like the stock tC exhaust, meaning the input of the muffler is not in line with the output. Injen seems better for flow as it is a straight through design. There is something to be said about having less bends in the exhaust path.

 

the burbly part of the TRD is personally what I like, to each his own, but i want to get skunk2 now but whatev

 

after researching ive decided to go with the INJEN.

it has that nice deep sound and gives you more performance!

ima get a new mid pip from megan racing! those catbacks are to loud for me!
