Default Injen vs. TRD vs. Precision muffler exleback exhaust

Can anyone give input as to which exhaust system is better, the richest sound, not "ricey" or honda civic-sounding, no whine etc.? Which one looks the best installed?

I haven't heard the TRD axleback, but I'm really partial to the Injen axleback. Magnaflow will be out w/ their sytem shortly.

I would say the Precision axleback, the trd sounds "ricey" IMO

The Injen has no 90 degree bends from the mounting point back. Will, have you heard the all fo the systems mentioned?

why bother with the axleback? just throw on a borla muffler or magnaflow muffler you'll get the same effect and save money. the axleback systems have no power gain.

Default axle back exhaust

i have the TRD on mine and it doesnt sound ricey at all and definatly opened up the exhaust, before it felt and sounded like it was struggling and after install opened it up. clean sound, not ricey at all

squirrel have you seen the injen it has a huge 90 in the piping it looks strange, also where is the percision sound on the web?

You have no idea what your talking about. The Injen and DC cat-backs have about a 6-8HP increase alone, and with a perforamnce CAI or Header install, will increase to an all around 20hp increase.

well, Souljah347 was talking about axle back, NOT cat back. Big difference. Secondly, exhausts dont do much of anything besides make noise.

The Injen axleback I saw and did the dB reading on had a 45 degree bend, but no 90. It came straight from the reear crossmember direct to the OEM exhaust cutout. I was there for the sound recording also.

I just looked at the pics I took a few months ago, and the bend doesn't look as pronounced as the production piece. I stand corrected. I was the one who's foot was on the gas pedal on the video.

I recently made an order for the Injen axleback, i belive it to be the best axleback soundwise design and quality. Its a straight through design so flow should be good. Like squirel said, the bends are mild . Combined with a downpipe and mendrel bent 2.25 tubing from header back it should yield at least 6 hp.

I have it and I love it, More Power Gain then the TRD and deeper then TRD..havent heard the Injen, should be nice!

http://www.injen.com/exhaust.html sounds nice not ricy at all compared to the competition. Once a header is added the exhaust note should change to a deeper sounding tone. :o
