hey man, dont let anyone tell you how to style your ride. That's what makes the tC community what it is, we all have our own baby. Your tails are different, and thats excellent.

Anyway, I forgot to mention in my PM to take off the metal brace under the mid-pipe. It will make a nasty rattling noise on its own. The rubber hangers can more then take the weight.

I'll post a video of my exhaust ASAP.

Thanks, people have been saying aero25 but I was trying to get it before the weekend so Aero was out of the question, either everyone was sold out or expedited shipping to the southeast was outrageous.

I initially ordered the Magnaflow 28" resonator but I head hot dogs aren't very good resonators. I was also told this one would do seeing as how my rasp isn't that bad but a 2 foor long resonator would eat away at a lot of my midpipe. Nevertheless it arrives on tomorrow.

Also on the way Vibrant Ultra Quiet 1141 Resonator, it will also arrive tomorrow. The vibrant is the same length as the aero at 14" but the width of the vibrant is 6.75" as compared to the 4" width of the aero. The vibrant resonator also arrives tomorrow assuming UPS doesn't eff up the delivery.

I will likely have the vibrant installed initially and send the magnaflow back if that solves my rasp issue.

Well I was gonna say beware the bolt by the alternator but from the pictures I see you must have had some kind of problem since that bolt is missing lol.
I dont understand how you all had problems with the o2 sensors I have an 05 and they came off easily.

nice setup, but you really should have cleaned the headers to get rid of all the oil from your hands!

its gonna look like crap pretty soon!!

I'll clean them up as best I can tomorrow. Anything specific to use on them?

if you have already turned on the car, its too late, the oil from the fingerprints are already burned into the headers

just jet-hot the headers!

all headers eventually look like crap, even clean ones, yours will just look crappier faster! LOL

btw you normally use mineral spirits, i used a spray used for removing fingerprints on tvs and computer screens with a microfiber cloth and it worked perfectly for my brothers SI headers!

Actually all is not lost. You can wet sand the headers and they usually come out looking brand new. It takes a good amount of elbow grease but its worth it.

Here is the instructional thread.

^true, but it will eventually go right back to looking like crap! LOL

jet hot is long lasting, but definitely polishing is great for car shows and such!

Tell me what you think:

Personally, it got rid of the drone but I still hear rasp or maybe its just me. I don't know if I should install the 2 foot Magnaflow resonator tomorrow so i'm taking thoughts and suggestions

Kinda ashy this morning and all I had was an almost empty bottle of lube.....I mean lotion

LMAO everybody wants to be a comedian

Its installed right after the cat, had tons of room there afterall.

Strup Headers --> Invidia S-Pipe --> CAT --> Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator --> Magnaflow Catback (Mid-pipe Included)

I think I still hear rasp though and i'm wondering if I should go ahead and weld the magnaflow on in the morning.

Then the flow would be:

Strup Headers --> Invidia S-Pipe --> CAT --> Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator --> Magnaflow Resonator --> Magnaflow Catback (Mid-pipe Included)

You guys know more about how exhausts should sound than me so i'm looking for guidance.

I don't want to "do" too much
