Installed CAI, ENGINE LIGHT ON. HELP!
#21
Make sure all the connections are clamped down and snug. Disconnect the negative terminal for 10+ minutes while you're redoing the piping. Then connect it back. Start the engine. Do not rev the motor. Let it idle for 10 minutes. Then, drive slowly making increasing intervals. When you reach your normal driving habit, just keep driving that way until you feel confident you no loner have the CEL issue.
...and yeah, Fujita CAI are pretty known for having CEL issues on our cars. That could simply be the cause.

Thanks Air2TheThrown,
If it pops back on, I will try that. As for the connections, everything is insanely tight. Maybe its the Fujita.. I wonder if theres a way to trick the MAF sensor.
Drive slow, while making intervals... is that to let the MAF sensor get used to the new intake?

no worries... sounds like your adjustment to the filter fitment might have been the original problem if there are any leaks or how the MAF is seated in the intake (CAI).... it will trip. that fitment has to be snug with no leaks. The O2 sensor fix youre referring to is not relocating the sensor, rather using the anti-fouler trick to back the sensor out of the main flow path of the S-Pipe.
