never had a CEL..just disconnect the battery and after the install let the car idle for about 15 min or so..if you get a CEL make sure everything is hooked up right

i just installed mine about a week ago and love it. the installation took alot longer than i expected. prob bc i tried to do it by just taking the bumper off and pulling the wheel well plastic back all the way but once i took the wheel off it did go in,though still not easily. i was pretty worried about not doing somethign correctly and getting the CEL light but had no probs. definately disconnect the battery or atleast take the fuse out for the ECU.

disconnecting the battery just makes the ECU learn faster that all...if you dont it might take a couple of hundred miles for the ECU to ajust properly...its up to you...

i have the Injen Full cai....took about 20 mins to install only cause i did it before...if you follow the directions your fine...

even though its a little hard to install the Full cai might as well if your dropping over $200 on it...

there no reason for them to look underneath the hood unless they suspect something..no the cai wont save you fuel its the way you drive they will determine that....you will loose about 1-2 of torque nothing noticeable but you will noticed the gains aboce 2500 rpm and nice throttle response

i notcied a difference between the SRI and the Full CAI..some people say theres no difference but there is the CAI makes for high end power and better throttle response then the SRI..cause the SRI in pulling some warm air in.....the Full cai is like 2-4 more hp then the SRI......but as your ECU ajusted to it over a period of 100 miles or so youll srat to feel the difference

Just finished installing mine, the guide was so-so helpful, had to figure out how to remove the part other than the MAF on my own, and no tips on how to get the CAI piping through the fender.....word of the wise, install the piping backward, just take the wheel off and the splashguard and put the pipe up from under the wheel. Made all my paintwork go to all hell.

I just ordered an Injen for my 2010 and installed it as a SRI and there is no rubbing but my filter is blue, not red. It might be a slightly smaller filter as they may have changed the design after hearing customer feedback. Either way, no rubbing on no. SR2115P.

They may have redesigned it to be a little smaller.
I've had no problems with the replacement filter I use now. No way in hell I was going to pay Injen monster bucks for the exact same filter I found intown at a performance shop for less than half the price

they changed the filter to an dry amsoil filter that is why it is blue and not red

The blue Amsoil filter is nice and pretty much maintenance free. I hated re-oiling the K&N I used to have for a different car. I like the intake and did not pay too much for it. I found it super cheap at a somewhat popular website and got a different one to match it b/c I had already done business with them. It was easy, just like the install. Putting the CA pipe on this weekend if weather/time permit. So far, $$$ well spent. Next is exhaust if I can choose a good one for a decent price.

Has anyone found a fix for the broken bracket for the injen intake?

Maybe another point to mount the intake?

Id rather not have any sort of welding done or DI's thing.
