Default intake baffold?

ok... i've heard alot of people talking about removing the baffold in thier stock intake.. where is it and how do you remove it and does it actually do anything if you take it out???

take it out and your engine will cut off unless you plug it with a bathtub drain stopper. I'd go buy a CAI and actually see some gains.

No power increase and MINIMAL sound increase. It's not worth it.

I'd buy a cai also... Sounds way nicer.. Although I don't have an intake myself, I've heard on many other tc's...

Default Removing intake baffle(silencer)

If you remove the baffle you will increase your throttle response. If you do want to remove it, I would recommend using a freeze plug from napa or any parts store. Just remove the baffle and bring it into the parts store and they can give you the right size plug. Also I would recommend buying a air filter like K&N or Green filter that will help with air flow.

1. buy good air filter

2. buy freeze plug from napa (bring baffle so they can match size)
