Although it won't help as much until you have the exhaust
side flowing better as well. It's like one hand washes the other. Each mod will help out the next mod that much more!

what we really gotta wait for is an exhaust that can bypass the cat converter, a cat back exhaust system...

will a cat back make your check engine light go on by the way, or is that just a header?

A catback will not make your CEL come on since the CAT is still present... some "high flow" cats make your CEL come on and removing it all together will also. Not to mention its illegal in some states.
