Any impact from the ECU and electonic TB control? I know on my 94 Z28 Camaro that the larger throttle bodies screwed with the TPS and messed with auto shift points and torque converter lockup. Not sure if a tC will be affected in any similar way but just throwing it out there.

The stock tb on a tc is 55MM! I am interested in one. I was going to buy a 60mm alphawerks but would prefer a 62MM! I am looking into getting this in about three weeks. Let me know what you come up with!

Let me know if you want to be the 1st.

With respect to issues, we will have to see if any are caused. I have heard of some of the LS1's having probs with different TB set-ups. Thus far, these prove to be flawless on the C5 & LS1 F-body

How soon to production release? I don't have a second car to drive, if I did I would have no problem giving you my tb. I wish I could help. When would these be released? I am going to get a tb within a few weeks and I can wait a little bit if I have to. I am going all motor would you see an issue with a 62mm tb? I have a Injen CAI, Alphawerks Header, ZPI S-pipe, ZPI midpipe with 2.5 magnaflow cat and magnaflow resonator, Injen SES Exhaust. After I get a bigger tb I plan on getting a wideband Air/Fuel sensor so I will know what my a/f ratio is and getting some sort of management (currently is going to be CAMCON).

The ZPI mide pipe came with a cat and resonator ? Do you have a sound clip, or pics ?

What are the chances of getting a intake manifold to go with the BBTB ?

No! I had to buy a magnaflow 2.5" in/out california cert cat with o2 bung and a magnaflow 2.5" resonator in/out. I decided to use that cat so I can put my header back on and relocate the o2 sensor and not have a cel b/c the header. I should have everything by next week.

Sorry for the delayed response....if we get one soon, can digitally image it and make a 1st unit, I would venture to say, if all goes well, that the CNC version overbored would be released in a month or less.

Return time for yours would be 1-2 weeks.....I may just ask Joe if he can let us use his.

I am interested in this TB, as long as I can get an IM as well! There is no reason to spend the money on a TB with a bigger bore if the manifold will only allow so much air in anyways! You are looking at a minimal gain until a new manifold is developed as well! Are you going to do product testing as well before you sell? Or are you going to sell and see what happens?

What kind of issues are we looking at for TC/SC'd engines rather than N/A?

Dezod, you got another interested party, glad I saw this as I was going to grab the Alphawerks next week.

62mm bore, and another vote for an intake manifold. I was going to match as well as I could the stock mani with a bigger TB, but if you guys will whip up a mani, I will grab it.

1 month ETA works out great, as I'm rebuilding in about a month for a P+P. Might as well get all my downtime in the same week.

Quick questions:

1. These are replacement billet TB's, not machined core's correct?
2. Will you use polished, knife edge throttle plates?
3. Enough with the turbo's ( ), when are those cams Joe promised us comming?

This may be a dumb question, but is there any way to replace the crappy DBW system?

Hey Paul, any updates or ETA's.

Did you guys even get a chance to digitize or even better get a one off of one?

Also, any hope in getting an Intake-Mani made?

hey this sounds like a great idea and im very intrested i would also like to note i have axcess to a dyno to check gains! i also was hit by a car last month with lots of damage to my right leg and my car is just sitting, i could dyno possibly march 4th and send the tb out the next day, put the tb back on and post results for everyone, like i said i cant drive the car is just sitting and i would like to take advantage of all this time off work. think about it.

I'd be interested if it makes power. $400 for 1 or 2 hp is kind of wasting $.
