ITBs
I'm not 100% sure if its even worth goin with ITBs in a tC but it is an alternative to turbos, s/cs, and nitrous....i guess.......Does anyone know of any kits available out there? Or, if anyone is actually running an ITB tC? any help will be appreciated............................ty
This is what they look like.....(this is NOT a tC)

I have not seen them on a tc. here is a nice set up on a 1nzfe:

It would help out, but not very cost effective.
I'll keep looking for you

Unless it's that way from the factory..... I think the M3 has ITB from the factory.

batman, the answer to your question is obvious. they look bad **** :D why would you wanna cover them with socks when you arent driving them? (and no not feet socks, special thin filters that slide over the stacks).
and andino it could be possible. you say have fun like you have tried it before.

^^ nope i haven't. just from what i've read on other forums. everyone who has tried it has a rough time getting the idle smooth again. not sure why though. just putting out some info that i've picked

most people that drive the car with itb's daily will take off the velocity stacks and put a small round filter on each throttle body. thats one way to filter it.
the cost that it would take to make a kit for the tc would not be justifiable enough for any company to wanna put that kind of research and developement into makeing a kit. they would either have to come up with a way to switch over to cable, which the ecu would have to be reflashed to not read off of the tbps. or they would have to come up with a way to have a tbps on every itb so that the computer can run all 4 at the same time.

so having a standalone would be a better step when doing a swap from DBW to cable throttle.. well just interested to see one, if they can do it on the honda why not on the tc, is it harder?

fyi, i was trying to keep this a secret, but i have too much on my plate and i have some throttle bodies that i was gonna use to be the first tC here with them, but if someone else wants tot ake that crown lemme know, im selling the 4 throttle bodies for 100shipped they are off a GSX-R and are the perfect size for the project, i researched and researched. and narrowed it down to these.
(i have been thinking about this project for over a month and a half now before i purchased anything, with help from my professors at school who have built multiple race engines (one of wichh whom used ITB)
