ok people, i need to know. with all thes "performance" tuning chips for scions on ebay and stuff, do they really work or not? i would love to get a gain of 20hp for 30 bucks, but is it for real? thanks.

very good point... well hopefully JET will keep us updated on what exactly they are planning to do when this comes out.. and how it will work for our cars

JET chips are a joke I put one in my tacoma back in the late 90s and didnt notice any improvement . then in 2001 I got a computer and started searching about it and came to find people have done before and after dynos with the chip and gained nothing at all . so I wouldnt be surprised if it will be the same here .

damn thats totally stupid. i was talking to my friend about the camcons also and said there's no real piggy back that makes a diff. only way is if you get either a super or turbo, along with a new intake, exhaust and headers. bsically, if you want performance, you gotta do it hardware, none of this software "fake the CPU" bs lol.
