I am looking to get a Tanabe Medalion exhaust for my tC. I know that a big selling point of this exhaust is the fact that it is no louder than 93db at any point. My question is: exactly how loud is 93Db? I can't find any clips and would like to have something to compare it to just because I have no idea how loud 93 Db is.

its just a little louder than the trd exhaust. you can barely hear it over wind noise with the windows down at 35 MPH.

I have the megan racing setup. if you want loud thats who to go with. I have no Idea what decible rating it is at. but is way over 93db.

it's dB not Db.. and 93 dB is much louder than a typical vacuum which is about 80.

and a jackhammer is about 100dB

I haven't hear the touring medalion on the tC yet, but i had a Super Racing Medalion on my civic and it wasn't loud at all, more like a happy medium:

yea please avoide the fat cans go with an exhaust as close to stock as possible , i had the fart can witht he whole angled stuff, ughhh those were the days

where can one find a sound meter other than the POPO's.....

for the record I have a very good sense of humor. its just sarcastic humor that most people don't get.

and you can find db. meters at radio shack.
