K20R swap

Someone did put in a V6, but I think they only got a 40 HP or so gain. DEfinitely not worth it for all the work involved.
Anyway, if anyone ever shoehorns a LS7 into our tC... you've got my respect. Actually, not really, you'd be freakin insane... you'd be torque steering in circles

Well... I bought the car as a daily driver and I was the track on friday and some dude was running 16.6... so I said hmm i can do better than that... so i bought the tech card and ran 16.4... then my buddy... mr honda himself was like i think we should k20r in the tc. so thats where Im coming from and wanted to know if anyone has heard of it being done.
second. the transmission doesn't suck it just needs better gear ratios. which is why I would like to know if the 6spd celica tranny will bolt up.
third, Turboing it for $4500 is an option but than i would be boosting and sorta not really fast but ok what ever but the tranny is still be an issue.
forth, the torque issue
k20r 153ft/lbs
tc- 163ft/lbs .. big diffrence hm ill get hondata k pro
fifth.. the civic si is ugly and the motor is nothing compared to a k20r
sixth.... ill just jump in my twinturbo 3000gt and walk all over all of you.
k thanks bye

I am yet to see a stock tc with a full tank of gas and full interior run any faster...
I was incredibly surprised at the fact that I wasn't able to break into 15's and I never intended to run the car at the track but I was in awe that the only other tc was running in the 16's. Then again the Civic Si was only running 16 flat.
and i dont want to mate the honda motor to the toyota tranny i want the toyota tranny on the toyota motor.
and why so much hate towards the honda motor.... i mean if lotus owners are yanking the toyota motor out for the honda... theres gotta be somthing going for the honda. I mean correct if im wrong but the honda lotus is faster and quicker than the toyota lotus.
but whatever apparently you all don't like the idea of hybrid swaps so i will continue using my car as a daily driver like it was intended for. and when the warranty is out ill be sure to post pictures of the k20 swap. because now I am 100% determined to do it. Thanks for wasting 10,000 + of my money. Just be sure to check back in three or four years.

^^ hell yea dude, have you seen that thing on top gear?
the guy litterally had his face pushing back like on a rollarcoaster.
I WANT ONE. i priced one...it comes up to about 52,000 and if it comes as a kit car, you don't have to get it registered as a regular car. =D
it's not that hard to build alot of power on this motor.
