Default Lightweight Crank Pulley

Ive read all of the topics about crank pulley's and how they are bad for your car. these posts, however, say nothing and show nothing about negitive affects on our tC. All of the posts that i have read were about other cars, other motors, and "a mechanic once told me"/"a friend of a friend told me" type stories.

What i really want to know is if a scion tC owner has had any issues with using a crank pulley. during short or long time use. i also want to know what the issue was...was the car just chuckin belts, or was it very serious internal issues.

i would like to hear first hand accounts, not stories about how this, that, and the other happened to your friend.

Thanks everyone.

Well our car is still fairly new so you probably won't get that many stories. Sure there are a bunch of people that have had them on for a while... but probably no where near the "long term" type of stuff you'd want to hear about. Not to mention if something did go wrong, being able to actually declare it caused by the pulley.

I mean i figure no one has 100,000 miles yet let alone 100,000 miles with a pulley on it, but any first hand account of any issues with the pulley on a tC motor is still worth hearing, i think anyway. my main thing is im tryin to get a lil more outa my Auto w/o goin f/i or spending gobs of money...i would like to atleat hang with a stock manual, lol. but i also dont wanna put somthing on my daily driver that has the possiblity of f-ing somthing all up and make the motor not run to its fullest life expectancy.

thats a running thread that people post updates on. everyone has an aftermarket crank pulley on and they state how many miles they've had it on. so far, 30 pages, no issues.
