You're trying to "scare" them with a few forum posts about random transmission issues (and one of them is boosted! like they're going to pay attention to that)?

Prepare yourself for disappointment and just flush the money for the lawyer down the toilet right now.

 

The stealership said they would replace my tranny because it grinds going into third. Someone allegedly from scion corporate came out to look at it and determined that only the syncros would be replaced and not the whole tranny. $1,500 in labor, thank God for the powertrain warranty.

On a side note, i wonder why they didn't just replace the whole tranny, seems like that would have been more cost efficient.

 

My 3rd gear went out on my 07 tc at first it would grind and then it finally gave out... dealer ship gave me a brand new transmission all free underwarrnty they had my car for about a week.

 

Mods lock this please? My lawyer [my sister, so no fees] Said that she wants to have a non biased 3rd party mechanic check my transmission out and sign an affidavit proving that my SS isn't the problem
