lookin for CAI
Well I finally decided to get a cold air intake in my tC. I am a rookie when it comes to this stuff so I need you guys to help me out here. I have heard good things from all AEM, Weapon R, Injen. Just wanted your guy's input and what you would recommend. Any additional comments like sound and I suppose HP would really help. Thank guys.

If you want sound there is no doubt that a Stage II (Ram Air Intake) will do the trick with a deeper very likable sound.
The picture shows that the Ram Air Intake in closer to the driver, enjoying engine bay resonance and the sound will travel mostly through ventilation into the cabin.
CAI will take away sound but there will be a little more HP/TQ gain.
The picture shows the actual position the filter will be at, so it is farther away and outside the engine bay, where sound most likely will be gone through the tire well, and get to the driver by the window.
We tried to post videos of the sound but the engine sound goes over the sound of the intake, but customers driving both types of systems clearly notice the difference in the sound, so it is a matter of what you want most: sound or HP...
