Default M/T Fluid Change??

so i went to the dealership for my last once over with the car before i hit 60K, im at 59,850.

They told me my M/T Fluid is "real bad."

Is this really necessary to change for 70 bucks @ 60k...or is it something that i can prolly do w/ the right tools, 20 bucks worth of Fluid, and 2-3 beers??

Yea i fly through the gears on occasion at least once a day

Changed mine at 50k ish and the old fluid was really stinky. It's a easy procedure that takes an hour if it's your first time. My recomendation is to get some wood about an inch or 2 thick and drive onto it(ghetto ramps) but it is doable without them too. Also, when you open the drain bolt the fluid gushes out and gets on everything so position your drain pan accordingly.
