Magic Turbo Time!

Magic Turbo Time!
It's getting to be that time of year where temperatures drop and people everywhere post "Damn, it feels like my car is pulling harder." Colder air outside runs off the same principal as a CAI, which is colder air is more dense, meaning more oxygen per cubic centimeter, meaning your car runs better. The Automotive Group I'm in lovingly refers to this as the "magic turbo" (sometimes we spell it m4gic turb0!).
We've had this joke going for a while, until we discovered that a professor at our University had done a study on this and, as retarded as it sounds, the colder air also decreases performance because the air is more dense and thus harder to move out of the way as you drive.
I have also heard that gas companies in the north use a different formula of gas for the winter, which also limits performance. Though this may just be a rumor.
So anyway, enjoy your magic turbos while they last
