Default Manual Transmission Chirp Chirp Chirp

I have some kind of noise coming from my transmission and was hoping someone would help me.
I searched and can't seem to find a similar problem or solution to my dilemma.

Here's the facts and hopefully someone can tell me wsup before I take it to the dealership:

*I noticed this problem tonight after a 400 mile trip.
*The car is a completely stock manual 2007 tC with 25k.
*The transmission oil was replaced with Redline MTF 2500 miles ago along with the engine oil.
*I got home tonight and there was a burning smell coming from engine bay.
*At idle when I press and hold down on the clutch and shift into any gear, I can hear a chirp chirp chirp (sounds like a sprinkler).
*I seriously thought there was a sprinkler nearby
*With the clutch still pressed down, when I shift back to neutral, the sprinkler sound remains until I depress the clutch.
*If I press and hold down the clutch and leave it in neutral, the sprinkler sound comes randomly.
*The noise goes away when I start driving.
*The noise is not the clutch squeaking when you press/depress it; I fixed that a while ago.
*I couldn't find any leaking or oily spots on the transmission.

Thank you in advance to anyone who can help.

A broken mount would cause the car to vibrate more at idle wouldn't it?
I don't have that problem.

All the threads I came across regarding the throw out bearings tells me that there is an audible noise when the clutch is depressed?
My noise is when the clutch is pressed.
Does that make a difference?

when ur foots down on the clutch (foot to the floor) it makes the noise?

Yes when my foot is down on the clutch the noise will occur...but not as quickly as it would occur if i shift it into a gear.

When my foot is off the clutch the car sounds normal (but searching threads leads me to believe that the slight ticking noise that I thought is normal valve noise is now a problem lol).

Car is stock with 25k.
The tranny just gave out on me and I had to wrestle it back home slowly in second. =(

Redline MTF? Shouldn't it be MT90? I don't know exactly what the difference is... but everything I've seen for the tC says MT90 (also what I put in).

MTF is 70W80, MT-90 is 75W90.

Whoops.

I have recently came across the same issue. Mine seems to happen when I am off the clutch. In any gear, and neutral, there is a chirping sound. Slightly pressing the clutch, just to where you can feel it take up the slack, it makes the sound go away. I messed around with the slave and fork a little at idle and the sound went away... for now. The sound is definately coming from the tranny, not intake or valving.

Just wondering if anyone had any insight on to what components in the tranny could be causing this repeated chirp too.

* update: covered the fork and slave with lithium grease by pulling the boot outta the way, both squeek (the classic problem with everyone) and chirp stopped for now. *
