megan cat back exhaust vs. hks hi power exhaust
okay so ive been lookin round and im ordering an exhaust in a couple of weeks. i was wondering if everyone could give me there opinions on the hks hi power exhaust and the megan drift spec cat back exhaust. im really looking into the hks .... but if u have sound clips please post them of both the megan n hks.

i would go with the megan racing because:
1) its a s-pipe back exhaust opposed the the HKS axle back
2) this will slightly yield more power
3) imho this sounds nice
4) imho this looks better because
a) it has more of a tilt
b) the muffler isnt as huge as a melon launcher
5) im biased towards megan ;)

CHOOSE THE MEGAN RACING!! produces more power, no bumper burn, and sounds awesome. i love it! im kind of like blackonblack, biased towards megan. Plus i get hook-ups.

GO HKS
Go HKS I have the Hi power and I LOVE it. no offense to megan racing but its like buying american racing wheels or like APC products or something.. I mean im sure its all fine and dandy but if u want to have an S pipe.. just buy one. and the Stock mid piping is fine.. I mean the difference in hp output is minimal at best. I have a Super White tC and have the factory scion body kit and i have NO burning what so ever... matter of fact if the Megan has more of a tilt that would point it RIGHT AT the bumper/kit. That would be even worse of a risk.. Just my opinion. It has a Really nice low deep growl and its not loud and annoying. But like I said its just my 2 cents. But i mean come on man its HKS!!!

if you want clips go to the the top of the drivetrain and power forum and there's a post with a bunch of different set-ups. Basically it boils down to what you're looking for. Better sound..HKS by far. HKS has no rasp and has a nice deep tone whereas megan is raspy. More HP...Megan because its s-pipe back and not axle back but like imprt said, you can always buy an s-pipe too. IMO, i like the sound better on the HKS (which is why i went with it) and the power diiference isn't that big...only like 4 hp more to the wheels. So many other mods can help you with HP gains. Honestly if you want good sound and power...go with Magnaflow!

the megan doesn't sound raspy at all, just make sure you take the silencer out. even though it has a resonator i don't know how it will sound with a header.

I think there is gonna be way more Megan exhaust being run on the tC's, then any other exhaust... once MEGAN can keep them in stock... The price you cant beat with a stick, and the quality is finally perfect.
Paying all that $$$ for just an axleback is ridiculous...

Like I said.. Im sure its all fine and dandy... Im not hating on it, just letting u know my opinion.. in which I also stated in the previous post that its... MY opinion. On top of that the HKS does sound much much better and if its the S pipe ur concerned about then get one.. You have to acknowledge HKS as a quality product. Megan is ok im sure.. Just not my flavor of Kool-Aid. If your into it then fine. I still say go HKS. S pipes can be bought later. Personally im down with gettin the MMW Header and Spipe combo. The Stock mid pipe is FINE. I would Imagine the Megan setup to be a bit raspy and louder then what I want. I like things to sound.... Good.

How about the HKS axle back + Megan racing midpipe? I'd like to do that since I already have the HKS.
