i have no melting bumper prob. all i did was have someone hold the exhaust where i wanted it and used an exhaust tie to attach it to the rear tow hook. it was easy cheap and the exhaust is exactly where i want it.

I'm definitely looking at either a Borla or Megan cat-back, not sure which way to go. I don't need crazy loud sound but I'd like a nice bump in HP. Any suggestions?

Thats exactly what I did too, I was hoping that Megan fixed the fitment issues with V2, but I guess not. I might take it to a muffler shop to see how much it would cost to weld another support to hold it to the left more.

So there isn't any burning problems when you don't have the factory ground effects, right?

mine fits fine, you can change the positioning by the way it's bolted up so there's a lot of play in the way it's installed. here's a pic of mine, but actually i moved it a little bit after this pic so it sits a little differently now.

Default got an issue with mine

I have the same thing you do on my tc as far as the drift spec exhaust but as sson as i put the header and downpipe it sounded like ____ and now im running through a check eng light problem....the cat back is great with just yourself...but as soon as you get more exhaust flow its gonna sound like a bumble bee on crack

i know this is a year old but if i open another thread people are goona bite my head off..

People with the drift spec....every signle DIY on the site is old and not up todate

megans racing fix everything as far a si know.....as far as the silencer is concerned its recommeded that you take it out before you put the exhasut on cause if you dont its goona be like dug a war...its a pain cause there 2 notches on the silencer that are like locks once you get it out grind them down and you should go in and out much easier..

i got mine.....it came with all bolts and everything didnt need one extra thing besides and extra buddy...

everything went smooth..got some power gain not much but it opended the exhasut a little more
