eventually yes is correct, unless your AMAZING at installing exhaust to where it doesnt burn it...but i have this exhaust on my tC and it's starting to burn a LITTLE but not TOO bad quite yet.

In the near future i'm going to get a heat shield. then the problems fixed!

lulz @ megan looking/sounding the best.

angled exhausts=looks like crap, who in the drift world are you trying to fool "drift spec"

id much rather have a tanabe concept g-h-ey and we all know how I feel about that exhaust...right DJ?

thats your opion, the megan drift spec is one of the best exhaust out there,as far as looks and sound, besides the agency power one, angled look gives it that aggressive look, but again thats my opion,

the tanabe one looks to plain to be just sits there....

I respect the opinion, but how good can an exhaust be if its burning your bumper

nothing about it looks aggressive, anything angled isn't meant on a FWD car IMO especially with the name drift spec.

BUT I will give you this, out of all the angled exhausts out here it is the nicest looking one, cause the HKS is crazy angled and the tsudo is just..tsudo, and agency power pff lol that exhaust looks hideous IMO I don't like all the colors of the rainbow on my exhaust.

maybe its just me since I think straight threw exhausts are the best, none of that angled madtyte jdm drift stuff.

and actually the tanabe concept g may look plain but is definatly one of the, if not the best sounding axleback on the market hands down.

hate to tell ya but alot of exhaust burn the bumper; do the 2 liter cap trick and stick it inside one of the openings on the rubber pieces that connects to the exhaust hanger; i know alot have done it and i've had it on mine with megan exhaust for about 3 years and took care of the issue

I loved my Drift Spec, but man that thing will get VERY loud after about 65k. I was amazed how much quieter my Dezod one is. I definitely recommend it if you can afford it.

I like to keep my car looking stockish with some punch... I much rather prefer tanabe medalion touring. As for the burning the bumper you really have no choice. Get a heatshield or try getting some long stiff hangar. So the exhaust won't be sitting too close to the bumper.

If by aggressive look, you mean ricer look, then I agree.

I like the Megan as well but I am going to go a custom route once I get my turbo set up done.

No matter what you want to get not everyone will like it. Just get what makes you happy, its your car.
