The fact that it's called a drift spec exhaust means it's made for a drift car. tC != a drift car. Call it something different then. I don't think a drift car needs a special exhaust. Why do you think it's called "Drift spec"? Do you even know what "spec" means? Spec is short for specialized. So, you want to put a drift specialized exhaust on a non drift car? That = rice. The angled exhaust originated in the drift scene. If it NEEDS to be angled for best flow, fine, it's functional. I'm not particular to the looks, plus you run the risk of burning your bumper. But if you want an angled exhaust and sacrifice functionality to have that, then that= rice, hence the original comment.

so your also calling a turbo mafia exhaust "rice"? I think it gives it a more aggressive look, not rice. Something like colored wiper blades is rice, or stickers galore. Not an exhaust, especially one that sounds pretty deep. Besides the fact i bought the exhaust, not you so don't sweat it if it's rice or not.

^word... Ive got it along with a dc sport header and s-pipe. I had very little rasp, so i installed a small resonator and have no rasp know. Ill tell you one the though adding the header made it twice as loud.. but i still love it.

if u install it right, then theres no chance of burning your bumper. its angled and since it is, it deletes the bend for it to become a straight out tip which does increase the flow a bit. if it orginated in the drift world than that could be why its called it. i doubt they meant it to be a special drift exhaust since the tc is fwd. it is one of the deepest sounding exhausts for the car so its anything but rice

the exhaust will? i figured it would be alright considering it's a 2.5" exhaust and i'm not going to be running an extreme turbo set up. I'm also getting a turbo mafia exhaust with the deal so i could mix and match to get the best sound/performace.

i agree for the most part. I guess my issue is the name. It's just like something being called "Military spec". To me, that means something that is designed specifically for the military. So, by this exhaust being called "drift spec" it is designed for drifting. Poor name I guess. If you like the angled exhaust, to each his own. I personally think it looks out of place and with the few instances I have seen bumpers being burned it is not for me. I guess by me calling it rice is mainly in the name. The tC is NOT a drift car as we all know so it shouldn't have an exhaust that relates to it being a drift car hence the name. To me it's the same exact thing as putting a type-r badge on it. By doing that you are advertising something that you do not have or cannot do.

the inner diamter is 2.25, thats the diameter of actual useage of space. yeah the pipe mayt be 2.5 thick but the other 1/4 inch is solid metal. no air is running through there. u need 2.5 or bigger for turbo ste ups
