That’s not true at all ... Flowmaster has quite a variety of mufflers including the 40 series, Super 40, Delta 40, Hushpower I & II, 50HD, 50 & 60 Deltas, etc, etc...
I used two Delta 40's om my 500rwhp 76 Stingray and two straight 40's on my 800rwhp 81 Pro Street Monte Carlo and my buddy’s 350ci SBC 38 International Woody street rod had the Hushpower II. They flow very well and sound ( on a V8 ) better than anything else out there imo. They have a very distinctive and powerful tin popping sound, when paired with a really aggressive cam and correct piping they sound badass.

Tho, also imo, they're more for 'street rods' rather than 'tuner' cars.

Took the words right out of my mouth, Flowmaster is a straight metal muffler and doesn't sound well with 4cylinder motors. It will work for performance, but you lose on sound quality.

^^ That video sounded very good IMO. I have Borla, and that was kind of the same tree for "Street Rods", it sounds good also.
