Question MT wont go into any gear.

I have an '07 w/ 120k on it. I can see my clutch fork moving with someone pushing in the pedal. I removed the slave cylinder and it seems it has more travel on the bench than when it was in the car. I mean looking at it in the car when someone moved the pedal it moves only about an inch. While I was driving I went to shift from 2nd to 3rd and then nothing I was stuck in 2nd. I drove in 2nd until I got close to my house and thought to press the clutch pedal in while on the gas and the clutch DID slip but not fully disengage. I went to try this again but the next time it didnt even slip the clutch. It seems as if there isnt enough throw in it to actuate the clutch. reading some other threads people have changed out both the master and the slave and this turned out NOT to fix the issue. I am hoping the symptoms I wrote about shed some light on my problem. I took apart the slave clyinder and the seals looked perfect as did the cylinder NO scraches or tears. I reinstalled it and rebleed it and it just seems like the fork needs to move more to disengage my clutch PLEASE HELP!!!
Anyone have any ideas I am leaning towards the master cylinder but dont know how to check it. I just dont want to throw parts at it.

Yep I can see the slave working but there isn't enough throw to disengage it. when I push in the pedal I can see it moving but it just doesn't feel right. Like there's not enough pressure. Some people told me if there isn't a leak then it isn't the master or slave, others have said it can leak internally?? My local mechanic seems to think its the master cylinder. I had it towed to his shop and he is going to change out the master cylinder and go from there. Yes its the stock clutch. I have never felt it slip in the days leading to this. I did however have trouble getting it into the gears for the past few weeks. you had to almost force it into gear at times. If you drove it easy it wasnt bad but if you tried to shift while the engine rpm was high say 4-5k it would have to be forced or I had to slow down to get it in gear.

going to guess either the springs in the clutch or the throwout bearing

Springs? They take up the impact when you dump it. There was no noise. They tend to make a jingle after they break. They throw out bearing on the other hand.. I would think it too would make some sort of noise. Although I lost it all at once it was difficult for the last few days, getting progressively worse. The bearing I think would have made some sort of noise when its disengaged, squealing or something.

Yea, my POS Spec Stage 3 had a spring pop out and get stuck and caused the clutch to be stuck engaged. I drove it home by rev matching it and timing lights right lol. One light I had to kill it , than crank it up and give it enough gas when cranking so itd take off in first when it started lol

Hey it sounds like you have the same problem that I just had. I had a bad clutch that had the pressure plate break inside of the tranny and caused the clutch not to disengage or shift into any gears.

UPDATE: Got the car back. turned out NOT to be the throw-out bearing but the clutch disc itself. A piece of metal from the center of the disc broke off and was preventing the disc from disengaging. The metal was like 1/4" wide and 3" long. It came from between the spring and clutch material itself. I was told it was from "hot-roding" the clutch. To be perfectly honest the day it happened I DID shift it harder than usual going from 2nd to 3rd. The mechanic DID say had it not broke there the clutch was still in REALLY good shape and would have lasted at least 50k more. It looked worn very little. Labor was ONLY $350 and Parts were $225 A BARGAIN!! I will be a little easier on my car now.
