Default My new Exhaust by Precision Muffler Duals!!!

Precision Mufflers Custom Dual Magnaflows for my Tc… Check it out.

Don’t Bash On my duals; I mainly got them for show purposes so don’t expect me to do any dynos on it unless Precision Muffler wants me to.

Any questions ask me or Stylis

Crap, I just got it yesterday so I think its 2.25 piping. Well it’s all up on Gabe at Precision if he wants to put this into production but likely not cuzz this was a custom that I ordered. No cat yet for me; im gonna wate till after all my body work is done, then have Precision make me one.

Im not sure?
If you didn't feel or hear anything then I guess it is fine. Enjoy your new setup and keep modding.

This is a 2.25in pipe design and is reduced bent. This is an axle back design, so it is smog legal and YES sound legal! The dual set-up here on the tC is as loud as our axle back design, which means that it will only hit about 75db at high RPMs. This is also a bolt on unit so Chris can put his stock muffler back on. As far as mass production, we were wondering about it as well. I am not sure that it would sell, seeing how everyone would have to cut their bumper.

what do you think?

Chris,

Is it possible to get a sound meter and measure it at the prescribed distance?

If you can, I'd like to see readings at both weightings.

I had someone run some ideas by me.

do you have a "V" or some kind of splitter in the pipe when it splits into the 2 mufflers? it seems like that "T" join would cause ALOT of restriction.

i know you said its for show... but i wanted to know this for myself.

there is no room for a V, the restriction actually helps out with the sound. The sound is quieter because of that T. I was going to use a V style for the exhaust, but once again I found myself with no room with the tC.

Just out of curiosity, how much would it cost to have one of those built and shipped to the east coast ?

If it's bolt on, I'm guessing (aside from cutting a bumper) it's a sunday afternoon insyall job?

Recently I've been coming to the decision that most (if not all) aftermarket exhaust are looks and sounds only, minimal performance.

The way I see it, that looks great, totally changes the stance of the car. I'd seriously consider that as something to spend cash on - if it didn't have negative performance issues.
