Default My nitrous setup. UPDATED WITH TIMES

I initially bought this nitrous kit from a member of a forum I am on called "Race850.com". It was a wet 75 shot. Came with bottle all necessary lines and a fuel and nitrous solenoid. I got the kit for 140$ and the bottle was full so I have no complaints. I mounted the bottle where the spar tire would go so still look "stock".

This is where I mounted the solenoids.

This is where I spliced into the fuel line for the fuel solenoid.

nitrous fogger in the intake. I had it tig welded and then tapped so I don't have to worry about the intake being to thin and it bending or anything like that.

I tried to hide it all as much as possible but it was hard to work with the short lines that I got.

entire engine bay.... You can only see it if you look close because I mounted the fogger below the vacuum line.

The only issue I had with the kit was one of the line going form the fuel solenoid to the fogger had a leak. I had to go to a local shop and they made me a 18in SS braided line with fittings for 8.50. Over all I think I did great seeing as to a custom kit for the tc is like 500$. I only spent 175$ for everything and then got to go use it becasue the bottle was full. Comments .... Questions....

lol it was a lot of fun.. my friend just turbo-charged his tc. We are going to the track soon and we are going to see how a full bolt on tc and 75 shot compares to a turbocharged one.

I've got some street slicks and with those I can hook.... but with street tires I spin all day long 1st -3 rd. The turbo spins all day long and he only has street tires... The track we are going to is only a 1/8 mile so he thinks it will be really close or ill beat him.

I'm not sure how much torque I am making but by the feel of it I make a hell of a lot more tq than I do hp... in 1st gear I am almost instantly at redline not spinning. 2nd pulls hard in the bottom and fades out a bit at the top. same in 3rd... I haven't sprayed in 4th or 5th dont plan on it unless I'm at a 1/4 mile strip

75 shot you're making roughly 200hp/222tq. You spin 1st and the beginning of 2nd easily and start to regain traction mid to the upper part of 2nd. The turbo'd tC spins 1st, 2nd and mid way through 3rd before regaining traction. On slicks and in the 1/4, the nitrous will put you ahead from the start, once the turbo spools he'll pull and pass you easily...from a roll the nitrous has no chance in hell and if he brake boosts the nitrous might as well not even be there. Just to give yourself a chance though make sure the bottle is filled and the bottle pressure is around 1100psi but you'll only get 2 passes with that pressure before it begins to drop and then the races begin to become really 1-sided.

I just go it filled up and I'm saving it for the track.

When someone asks how much boost you're running be sure to tell them 1100!

umm........ not to like crsuh you or anything but i ran a 75 shot all day and numbers were 240/255 and i had no problem beating 2 turbo tcs, one was a dezod s1 kit making like 250 wheel from a roll i beat him, and the second turbo tc i raced was from a dig and it was the ptuning kit making 280whp, i had like a bus length on him at the 1/8th and then he passed me a bit after the 1/4mile was over

LMAO...yeah right. Not to crush you but unless you have a dyno sheet to prove it like I do, I don't believe that garbage.

75shot does not net you 75 hp to the wheels at all not to mention even the term 'shot' has nothing to do with hp gain at all. I won't even begin to mention how the tq gain dwarfs the hp so gauging your hp based upon someone else numbers aren't exactly accurate. Also if you are being dyno'd on a dynojet you may see 250tq/hp, that isn't so on a Mustang Dyno or PTUNING's DynoDynamics.

Here is my dyno sheet 75 shot plotted against stock w/ bolt-ons.

And just for kicks lets plot that against my turbo setup with a very restrictive 2.5" exhaust with resonator and small T3/T4 50 trim turbo.

But I digress, I know you ran boost @5psi and I know you ran nitrous for awhile and realized your nitrous was faster but I think you are back on boost so i'm not saying that you don't know what you're talking about, quite contrary but I think the tq that hits with nitrous might have some confused but I have dyno's to back up my claims.

Do you have a bottle warmer, to get the full potential out of it, the bottle should be warmed...

Install Looks Clean!!

you cant really compare numbers that come from two different parts of the country....atmospheric pressure and temps have alot to do with that...

dont have sheet with me but it was on a dyno jet, it was at altered atmosphere and that dyno reads low, ask draxcailiber....he made 220hp on 10psi LOL.....

and if u dont believe my kills go ask mospeed

but if u wanna say im lying or something than u win not gonna argue i gotta better things to do
