My Scion tC won’t start and I need help..
A couple weeks ago I went to start my 06 tC and nothing happened I figured the cold shot my starter so I had purchased a new one and still nothing happened I ran a alternator test and found that my alternator was good I figured it was my clutch pedal safety switch
so I opened it up cleaned it out and still nothing when I turn the ignition all my lights turn on heat works everything works expect it won’t start but if I pop start it it drives as if nothing was wrong I don’t know what the problem could be anymore and I need some help.
Thanks

Could be a bad ignition switch or other bad ignition system component. Here's a decent link that lists various steps to identify an ignition system problem.
https://www.aa1car.com/library/ignition_switch.htm
If it's not an ignition problem, I'd check the key fob battery. I'd also consider a DTS code readout. I read somewhere that not all diagnostic trouble codes trip the CEL light. If the reader reveals a code, you can google it for repair tips. If you don't have a reader, AutoZone will do it for no charge. Good luck.
