My friend has a h22 swapped hatch. Intake header exhaust and stage 3 cams tuned and 9k rpm redline. 235 whp
We have only run him all motor vs me on spray. 40 roll he was in 2nd I started in 3rd instantly pulled on him and was 5-6 cars ahead by 100 mph. Don't know about me all motor to him though.
his gearing goes something like this.
1st- 40 mph
2nd - 73 mph
3rd - 110 mph
4th no clue
5th no clue

Not even going to get into the Honda vs Scion/Toyota debate! They each have their space in the auto world! Now, 200 HP N/A scion. I must say, it is NICE to see someone trying to do something other than forced induction with their scion. There does not seem too many other people doing this. This will be my path vs. F/I. Most people have had good suggestions but people are too negative against non-boosted tCs! In the end, no matter how you get there, it is about MORE horsepower!

i never once thought my NA build a waste of time.. but then again im probably one of the only well documented success stories.. if not the only one lololol
i think for the hell of it... me and elevation are going to try soon possibly to tune my car and also get my ___ up and fix a few things and re shoot for 203... i know my car can do it.. im just missing 1. the funds 2. the time
frankly ive been more concerned about going boost then continuing for the fact that budget has already been allocated and set aside after january..... 600 whp ..and thats just to start!

You look to be a little on the young side.. so let me clue you into something.
There was a day when we {the import/sport compact} community were told we would never make a 12 second pass.. Done..
Then 11... 10.. 9... 8.. 7.. etc.. all done.. and done well.
Hondas just like scions were told "The only way you can make power is to go F/I"
Well here we are 15 years later and its not uncommon to see built all motor Hondas making 200-250whp or more. {The K series motors alone are looking at 200+whp with i/h/e and hondata.
Now if you want to do like everyone else and follow the road thats ALREADY been traveled go get your Greddy Kit and keep moving. But dont bag on those of us that want to and will prove that all motor in a tC can be done and done well.
That being said one day I will be boost.. but not until I have done my part to show the up and coming scion heads what can be done with some elbow grease.. a good tune.. and some MINOR mods.

ok i did some ricer math and came up with this...the avg tc with i/h/e gets about 160-170 whp....now with a tune, unichip etc, and pulley set we can look about 180ish...i still dont think that is to bad for a n/a tc..

its not bad.. and things have come along way since pete started his build.. weezy is just mad cause he knows hes a fan boy.
But we shouldnt be mad at him.. its probably his first project car.
Pete is knocking on 200wheel.. with a built all motor setup.. There are things out now that pete didnt have access to when he was breaking ground.. He lead the way.. got what he wanted.. and is changing paths....
Those of us that come up next. learn from pete.. cut some more ground.. break 200wheel then go our way. etc etc etc et all.
Simple progression of any motor sport or any past time for that matter.
But we shouldnt be mad at him.. its probably his first project car.

lmao shift.. ur a lil punk my first project car huh? my first car was a hatchy with a ls 100 shot would rape half of SL beside's the tc's with built motor anything else wouldint of had a chance so u take ur NA tc and hop along only success NA build ive seen is TCpete and he is going boost later on down the road

Its a sad simple fact that pete and I were building and racing hondas when you were 6-7 years old weezy so while you were stuffing bugs up your nose we were racing. even if we go back to my being as old as you are now. I was already three project cars deep. and that was 9 years ago.. pete is about the same age I am and is in the same boat.. so please try and remember.. you are not special.. you are one of the vast number that got a tc... boosted it.. and now think you are fast. I am glad YOU think you are special.. cause.. self love is the best.. but do remember that you are not breaking ground.. or doing anything that wasnt being done while you were still in second grade.
