New: DC Sports Cold Air Intakes
Priced very competitively, good finish and fit. I feel they are priced to move for sure! They also include a dry-flow style filter that does not require oiling too.

Both are undoubtedly made from 6061 aluminum, so there are weight savings there on both brands
Both lines appear to have mandrel bends, and such.
The real winner on the subject would be performance changes. Without relaying one right after another on the dyno, there is no way to prove one is better than the other.
The Raceland appears transition in diameter throughout the intake, which is a little interesting....The mid coupler appears to be transition coupler. I do not like the fact that the transition in diameter occurs right before the MAF. This can cause MAF haywire and lots of turbulence as well.
Vs DC, with a uniform diameter...
The build quality is something to compare as well. I would be curious to see first hand how they are against one another....
The other major factor would be fitment. I would be curious to compare the two. Again, this point alone could be worth the extra $75 IMPO

Personally, I would be happy to spend more to support a company who spent the time and money on R&D, versus a cheap knock-off.
If you're just looking for sparkly things under your hood, buy Spectre at Auto Zone. If you are looking for actual performance, buy something that can quote dyno numbers, or has a reputation for quality.
End of rant...

Ya know, DC Sports has been around in this industry for quite sometime now. They have paid their dues and have been noted as a reputable manufacturer. So, with this being said, I feel DC > Raceland

But I would not go that far to say DC is better than Raceland. I personally dont have Raceland intake on my tC (rather go SRI), but I do owe the Fujita and DC Sports intake.
DC Sports are now owned by a leading importer called Pilot, they do nothing but importing stuff from oversea. If you look closely at all DC Sports intakes, you will notice that they are all the same as Fujita air intakes. Basically the manufacturer who made Fujita Intakes are now supplying their intakes to DC Sports as well.
But one thing you are right, DC Sports filter is dry filter, however, they cannot be compared to AEM Air Filter or Injen Air Filter at all. AEM (K&N owe now) dry air filters are made in US (same as Injen & K&N oil air filters) with the industrial standard quality control. DC Sports filter (at least the one I have) is small and you can see thru the filter element, which is a joke to me (Fujita has better design since it has Apexi Design)
Of course, you cant beat DC Sports price, becoz you are getting an exact same design as Fujita but paying less money.
To sum up my experience, I would give out these conclusion I had with my Fujita intake and DC Sports intake and future plan on mod:
1. DC Sports intake is same as Fujita intake but cost less (at least as of today)
2. Both have 2.75" piping (2.75" is okay for 05-06 tC, would trigger CEL for 07+ tC). I thought DC Sports can fix the problem I had with Fujita, but pretty obvious DC Sports failed again.
3. Both filters are dry filter, and filter elements are easily see thru under the light (I like Fujita Dry Filter better than DC Sports)
4. I sold my Fujita and DC Sports intake coz I just cant tell what's the difference (oh, Fujita does come with pic instruction, while DC Sports give you wording instruction, no pic. I dun have problem with it coz I already got everything out when I had my Fujita intake)
5. Looking for SRI as alternative. Just tired of going thru the same problem.
Hope it helps other ppl who's looking for comparison between DC Sports intakes and other brand. Just save money to buy either K&N, AEM, Injen or any other brand that has good filter (piping is only important on the MAF size)
