Default the new TRD catback exhaust

everyone knows the TRD exhaust is an axle back, but what if we used the S-pipe to make it into a catback? then performace would increase, and the great looks would stay...any1 think of that?

No. Noone has ever thought of combining a high flow cat/testpipe and a bolt on muffler. Hmm

Have at it though.

There are 3 sections of the exhaust. Starting right behind the header you have the s-pipe. It stops at the mid-section, which includes the second cat. After that is the axle back section. Replacing the s-pipe with a TRD axle back does not give you a cat-back. It gives you a "header-to-stockmidpipe-to-axle-back-half-assed-exhaust" system. You'll still have that large mid-section bottle neck. Just buy a nice header back exhaust. If you don’t have the money then save up for it. But don’t have half **** it and waste money on a s-pipe mated to a nearly stock exhaust system, especially if you’re using the factory exhaust manifold.

someone in my club has stock headers, stock s-pipe, new mid-pipe, and TRD muffler on.

he feels a little in pull since the S pipe is restricive (duh) and it sounds the same as if teh TRD muffler was on a stock car
