K1 Rods
Camry Crankshaft with Balance Shaft Drive Gear Removed
Balance Shafts Removed
Bored to 2.44L
ARP headstuds
RX-8 Throttle Body with Scion TC Circuit Board
2.5" intake with 3" Spectre MAF housing
Raceland header and S-pipe
No Name 2.5" catback

Headers for NA 4 cyl's are so misunderstood. That raceland header's pipes are big enough to where if Derek(the owner) wanted to PNP his head it wouldn't require a custom header to be built because the raceland would still be bigger than the new ports. It's equal length like all the other headers and the runner tubes are bigger than most headers out there(which isn't really a factor with stock ports and valve size atm). To make any kind of significant difference header v. header the superior one would have to be MUCH longer before it collected into one pipe and the TC doesn't have the room to facilitate such a header.

We did a good bit of research when building this nitrous/all motor setup. After checking out the name brand headers vs. eBay brands vs. no name setups we choose the raceland. Surprisingly raceland was the most willing to release exact spec info(primarily runner length and pipe ID) but we got it out of everyone we called when we explained we weren't trying to steal their header design.

Hood back on after the small trek we took through Louisiville
Two short drivin vids. The CEL is there because there is no 2nd O2 sensor. Just a plug .

Build pics:
Balance shaft oil hole pluged
Yeah me and my buddy Henry carried that engine up the stairs. Not as light as we thought...
Sam pushing the engine into position
These were taken after several hard break in pulls before we went out to finish the break in and drive around.
This is the father unit
Sam and Derek
Car with a nice tint coming onto the header
Left to Right. Me, Sam and Derek(the owner)

Yea me and Sam are 20, Derek is 21. He drank, we worked lol.
If we knew the V6 swap was so easy we would have done that but I discovered it RIGHT after we got the engine together. Kind of ____ed us off but that would have cost even more to build up for nitrous, especially if I had to wire it then TIG a bunch of mounts and exhaust pipes up.
If the motor hadn't blown up before the build it would have been around $3k but it turned out around 3700. I could have mic'd the engine and done the head if it wasn't blown to hell but the block, head and camry crank(his stock crank was f-d) had to be checked, honed, and mic'd by the machine shop before I could start.
