catback exhaust..... means the mid pipe is included?

i have the zpi catback exhaust and the dc header. i want to get an s-pipe and a resonator as well before i get it all installed. if the midpipe is part of the catback, do i get the resonator welded into the s-pipe? would it be a better idea to have the whole exhaust system welded together by a shop, or just installed with the equipment provided?

sorry for being a little dense...... i can't seem to find the answers i am looking for in the search....

yes. mid pipe is included. usually resonators are welding into the mid pipe... you should be fine just installing it. you don't need anything welded together...

so a muffler place, could just weld a resonator into the cat back exhaust then?

hit up your local muffler shop...welding a resonator into a midpipe is like nothing for them...im sure they'll barely even charge you....now if you want them 2 install it....you are in a different ballpark in a money-spending way because welding is cheap but them installing it will probably cost a lot more than it should

Average price is about 50-100 bucks for getting a high flow cat or resonator welded in around my part of town. Just get a bid in writing then you wont be supprised.
