NST Rocks!!!
They sent me the 3 Pc. pulleys on Monday and I already got them. Now waiting on Auto Zone to get me the Goodyear Gatorback belt so I can install it. At least I have some new air tools waiting for me.
*Update 7/13/06
I forgot to mention that I weighted the pulleys at work just before installing them. You guys may ask, how accurate it was. All I have to say is that the scale is used to weight aircraft parts and it is calibrated every 6 months. Will soon post stock ones just to compare with past installs. For those that don't know 16 oz = 1 lb.
Crank Pulley = 16.08 oz
Water = 6.13 oz
Alternator = 3.11 oz

How much did they charge you for the belt? ..also - let me know things go w/ the pulleys (meaning a difference). Would you consider just putting the water and alt. pulleys on first to see what type of gain you get before added the other pulley?

You bet I will take many pics. And just because I love U guys so much, I'll try to do the alt and water pump alone first. I don't think I'll run it for too long though cuz the alt is going to be running 120% you know. The belt should be in by Friday, hopefully. BTW they charged me $18.47including taxes for the Goodyear Gatorback, supposed to be the best one. Hopefuly they got the right number cuz every place I went to had a hard time trying to figure out the part number (K06747). Look out for some autoparts trying to sell you their "top of the line" not really for $30 + dollars. For the ones looking for the goodyear one as well this is the part # 4060747. While any other manufacturers # will be K060747. Later.

sounds great - The alternator will be fine w/ the pulley - ya dont have to run it long (but what would it matter?) - Im just interested in how much its worth getting the water and alt.

yea but dont forget the turbo - since you are pushing over 270hp right there ... you are freeing up hp you already have. So wouldnt you think you would get a higher gain since you are pushing higher HP #'s?

Well I finished installing everything on friday night (will post pics later). First I installed the water & alt pulleys and to tell you guys the truth there wasn't much difference. While parked and accelerating the car, yes it felt a lil quicker but not much while driving. Then installed the crank pulley and that made the difference. While parked it revs a lot quicker, it's pretty cool the feeling of it ( can't wait for the lightweight flywheel now). Then while driving there's some noticeable quickness on 1st & 2nd. My only frustration was that it took me around 5 1/2 hours to do the install (by my fre@king self) and have to drive to the autoparts twice. There wasn't really a need of a pulley strap to hold the alt. My idea was to use my jack ( I know it wasn't safe, but what the heck) and pinch the alt pulley between the jack and the bottom of my car to get it of the alt. Guess what? Sure enough it worked perfectly. The second thing was that I installed a megan catback the day before and was still learning to feel the difference in power and that I lost a lot, I mean a lot of low end power. Medium and top end is awesome, but it just doesn't feel like my Tc no more. Overall I feel like a 15-20 HP difference from stock with both mods, but the exhaust is the most noticeable gain IMO.
P.S. At idle it is soo much smoother now, I love it.
