OBX CEL Eliminator

OBX CEL Eliminator
Came across this on ebay, looks kinda promising. Has anyone seen this? This is listed for a WRX but the seller has the same part listed for other cars, so it's probably universal.
Looks like it would work, as it restricts airflow into the O2 sensor. Has anyone tried this?
People may talk down OBX's quality, but if it works it works. I don't have a header yet, but it might be a good alternative to the anti-fouler which doesn't always work.

that is basicly the same thing every one else does with the spacing of the O2 sensor it doesnt work to great since some get a cel still what mmw is doing is makein a L shaped peice of pipe and putting the sensor on and so far no cel but there still in the testing stages

I couldn't get the ZPI to work either....
I don't notice any difference with the antifouler setup.... I don't know why I'd effect performance in any way though, as the 2nd O2 sensor is narrowband and solely for emmisions control, not to tune A/F for the engine... (That job is done by the o2 on the header, which shouldn't be modded)....
The Antifouler should work just fine for you

If it will go on i plan on customizing it abit since i got 4 different type of foulers from autozone. il prolly use a longstem 1st and redrill the 2nd one connecting the o2 sensor
o wells i c wats happens.

OK I just had my ZPI 02 Simulator installed and after just 10 minutes the CEL came back. My next question is this just a problem with Megan Header or as stated in previous posts with other headers a hit and miss situation. I will be putting in a call tomorrow to ZPI to confirm.

I had the same problem.... and spent days retesting and rewiring that thing over and over again. I just went with the antifouler and haven't had an issue since.... in my experience, you just need to do the antifouler exactly per the instructions and it'll come out just fine... it popped a CEL for me like most people, after around 50 miles, but one reset and nothing since.... 4000+ miles later.

Although being totally ____ed about this situation, I make my living in sales and being the consumer you have to present your problem accordingly and more often than not you will get the desired response:

Dear ZPI,
I have a Scion Tc and recently purchased the 02 Simulator for my Megan header. After doing the research and calling ZPI to verify this would eliminate the CEL most headers throw and I assured it would not throw a CEL. I was disappointed when my CEL came on after just 10 minutes of installation. I watched my mechanic install and followed the directions for installation to a "T". I know from reading the boards on Scionlife you guys do good work for Tc's I just need help with this problem. Any advice ?

Steven,
I am sorry to hear of your issues. We have had some hit and miss issues with the 02 sim on the Scion tC, as all companies seem to be having the same problem. We have actually discontinued this product because of these issues. These do work on plenty of vehicles without issues. Have your mechanic check the ground as that seems to be the issue with a lot of people.
See if the ground is the issue if not we can return it for store credit or take care of you on your next purchase.
